Who We Are & What We Do
The Queensland Afghan Community Association (QACA) is a non-profit organization that aims to foster social cohesion among Afghans in Queensland. Our mission revolves around aiding recently arrived Afghans in their settlement journey, and facilitating their integration into Australian society as productive members. An equally strong aspiration for us is to introduce our rich culture, values, and traditions to the broader Australian populace. Our approach involves the coordination of both social and educational events, with an open invitation for the wider Australian community to participate. We are particularly dedicated to crafting specialized programs, such as the Dari school, designed to engage Afghan youth. Additionally, we extend crucial assistance and guidance to newly arrived Afghan refugees and migrants, ensuring they receive essential information and support. None of our efforts would be possible without the benevolence of compassionate Australians. We maintain a steadfast commitment to optimizing the utilization of resources, striving for the utmost efficiency and effectiveness in all our endeavours.
